Construction:
Currently we have completed all earth works on holes 18, 17 and 16 with
13 to be completed this week allowing for the installation of irrigation,
followed by sanding and grassing. Holes 12, 11 and 10 will quickly follow
as major bulk earth works have already been completed and shaping has begun.
Holes 14 and 15 will be the final contracted holes with earth works and
rough shaping starting next month. As for the green grass, we have for the
past two months been growing our green grass on our nursery at Chi Linh
which has been developing very well to allow us to have the required grass
for the first nine holes. Club House & Driving Range Design:
The design of our Club House and Driving Range are now complete thanks
to the hard work of Graham Taylor Design. The Club House will no doubt
be well received by our members as we have designed a large spacious club
house that will offer a new level in comfort and style.
The Driving Range facility which will be used as our temporary club house
facility during the first nine holes will begin construction next month
to ensure it is ready for our opening. This facility will be equipped
with showers, lockers, small kitchen and seating area for up to 80 people
to ensure it is comfortable to use for our nine hole operation. Any members
that would like to view either of these facilities can call me directly
to view the design drawings.
Staff Training:
As a key element to the success of Dai Lai Star Golf is our staff, I would
like to inform you that we are currently recruiting staff for all areas
of the operation. At present, we have over twenty (20) staff receiving
on course training at Chi Linh Star Golf with another twenty (20) currently
learning basic English at Dai Lai Star Golf. In December we will recruit
another 70 staff to ensure that they are ready to service our Valued Members
come opening time.
As the end of another year fast approaches, on behalf of Dai Lai Star
Golf and Country Club we would like to take this opportunity to wish you
all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year for 2008. |
